The Edgmont Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 6:30 PM with representatives of the Pennsylvania Game Commission to discuss the Game Commission’s acquisition of 176.8 acres of the Sleighton School Property in Edgmont Township.
The meeting will be held in Rooms 114-117 of the Student Union Building on Penn State Brandywine’s campus, located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road, Media, PA 19063. The meeting will also be available via Zoom; registration is required.

This acquisition is driven by a highly publicized, yet short-notice land swap involving Pennsylvania State Game Lands in Limerick Township, Montgomery County. While this may seem like good news for Delco, Montgomery County residents are concerned. The land swap on the Limerick side is located adjacent to property that is zoned Heavy Industrial, with the potential for warehouse or data center development.
